Was like 23 years old and boy was at Delicious dad and it's still good now American wheat pale ale yeah it's a good Beer and then what are we eating today Today Connie's Pizza it's a Chicago Staple we got it from the frozen Not from the restaurant this is the Classic thin crust Italian style beef And uncured pepperoni you heard that Right Italian style beef on a pizza from The frozen section excited to try It I damn near dropped my shopping Basket when I said Italian beef and the Frozen food aisle on the Connie's Pizza I almost dropped my basket but they've Been around since the 60s this is a Chicago staple this you cook this I Think immaculately it looks very good Yeah well what I did was I followed the Directions on the back of the box don't You dare compliment my skills um Yeah we did uh 425 18 to 21 minutes we Did it for 18. the top look done the Bottom felt a little weak we kept it Another two minutes so if you're Following along at home that's kind of What we what we did still feels a little Flimsy on the undercarriage but we'll Have to see once we get to get to feast And let you know if we should have kept It would have been tough to keep it in Longer because the Top's looking a Little toasty but yeah we'll let you Know I'm still excited for the taste I

Think I like Connie's To say I thought that was a no Italian Beef well it kind of doesn't know that Was sliding You're Gonna Want to grab That there you go it's a little weak on The beef a little weak on the beef only A few slices are really feeling it you Know yeah this is a little fancy I mean This is a tough one to cook I guess yeah All right here we go the classic thin Crust from connies cheers beef and Pepperoni [Music] It's got that cornmeal I forgot Connie's Sneak set in there it's got that Grittiness on the bottom great texture This tastes really good because you got Peachy ma'am the Italian beef is not Gross not at all Um there's not very much of it but this Is like overall the build of this pizza Is really good [Music] The sauce is kind of that like you Struggling over there I think I just Burned the three layers deep in my mouth Too much ingredients came off the sauce Was sparkling I just had some really good pepperoni it Was like crisped up and I got extra Flavor yeah Italian beef tastes really Good the sauce It's kind of like to me that classic Childhood sauce which I don't think is

Great but it's sentimental enough that I Don't dislike it yeah I wouldn't want it At like a local spot but I'm frozen I Can deal I know that's a good way to put It it's not the same as like DiGiorno Like DiGiorno I mean your sauce is so Like one like speed like this to me has A little more going on I feel like There's a little more seasonings in There or something but overall I think I Really like Connie's I think this is a Good buy I would just be curious what The price is let me go run and grab the Jeep real quick okay Connie's Pizza 749 okay perk savings buck 50. so I'm Assuming that's closer without the Savings I guess it's like nine bucks Nine bucks okay so it's on sale for 7.50 And crust is a little flimsy for my Liking and you're doing more I'm gonna Do one more so I can have six or sauce I'm gonna do one more I was excited to Tell you about this so if I'm like Building a registry for my wedding right One of the things that you can register For is an air fryer that's big enough That you can put a full frozen pizza in Oh that's brilliant so I'll be able to Like air fry an entire Connie's Pizza That's brilliant so that was the kind of Tie into the fact that like the only Thing that's wrong with this to me Really is that even though it was in There for as long as it was it still is

A little flimsy despite looking very Done on top yeah I think the air frying Process is really going to take over the World uh yeah excited to get into this Next little slide I do really like the Italian beef I was a little worried that The meat would be like it doesn't look Grand no not at all I don't expect to Find a grand looking Italian beef and it Fits well with the puzzle of the pizza It helps doesn't hinder this tastes Really good like a good tasting Pizza Sticker sauce I'm back on the mild now Hey mild's great I keep going like Teeter-totter which one I like more Right now on the my other one oh yeah You can taste the like sweetness even More because the heat's not getting as Much I love the cornmeal that you Brought up wow to me it's kind of like It's kind of like a better child's Pizza It's like a little kid's pizza with Better top ingredients It Feels Like A Red Baron on steroids yeah that's a Great way to put it hold on a little bit Of the back of your pants get the Steroid needle and the fatty part of Your butt inject it into the Red Baron Ass and this comes out okay I was joking Come on I really enjoyed that that's an Excellent slice yeah I'll kill him oh There's a giardinera on it supposed to Oh jardiniera seasoning okay wow okay Okay so maybe that's where I'm getting a

Little bit of that complex flavor that I Thought was in the sauce it's actually Giardiniera seasoning all right let's Break this down and then we'll do a Little thumbs up a thumbs down what do You think overall start with the beer For the tax man great beer not huge into The wheat or pale ales lately yeah but Still if you're into that thing this has Always been one of my favorites and then For the pizza not the best chassis the Uh the crust like I said it was kind of Flimsy it was hard to get cooked up to The right level without just totally Toasting the the top of the the pizza But everything else well also the the Sauce was kind of childlike it wasn't Like which is fine with me because like I said it's got that kind of childhood It's a Nostalgia yeah the Nostalgia Factor but everything else is kind of Top notch like I really like the Italian Beef on there I thought the pepperonis Were great and I think the cheese did a Great job of doing its job and then all The addition of cornmeal on the bottom And it did have some like really good Flavoring I didn't know it was giardner At the time but like yeah knowing that Now yeah I think those flavors came Through a little bit not as hard as like Jordan Air on top but seasoning I Thought was great too Gumball had I Think maybe the only wheat beer that
