Panipuri Shawarma With Cheese Is Internet’s New Unusual Food Combination
From dal makhani ice cream roll to chocolate Maggi to Masala Jalebi, the internet is replete with videos of such culinary experiments. Latest in the list of bizarre food combos is panipuri shawarma. A video of a restauran in Surat, Gujarat, attempting to make this unusual food combination has gone viral on the internet.
Shared by Vatsal Jariwala on the page @thefoodiecam, the video opens to show a man chopping up shreds of roasted chicken and adding vegetables, white and red sauce to create the filling typically used in shawarmas. He then takes a plate of panipuris and begins to make holes in them. After that, he fills the puris with the chicken preparation and adds red and white sauce to the them. At the end he grates the panipuris with cheese.
“India’s First Pani Puri Shawarma,” read the caption of the video shared by Jariwala. Since being posted on Instagram the video has amassed 50,553 likes and tons of comments.

“It’s Puri shawarma …..coz Pani ka namu Nishan nahi hai….. And i hope ki esa ho bhi na,” wrote one user on seeing the video.
“WHAT THE HELL …PLEASE DON’T DO THIS TO PANI PURI,” wrote another user.
“My arab friend is in coma after watching this reel,” wrote a third jokingly.
The harsh reactions continued as another user said, “I can say with a 100% conviction that this is the worst street food.”
“Is anything left in the world to destroy the foods,” wrote another Instagram user on seeing the video of the wierd food combination.
