Morrisons has today unveiled two unique new eggs to its range – made entirely of Credit: Morrisons

Morrisons is selling handmade Easter eggs for £5 each.

There’s two options available in-store and online from tomorrow, March 29:

  • Lancashire and Cheddar
  • Stratford Blue Soft Cheese

They’ll be available across all stores in the UK and those part of the My Morrisons reward scheme can bag one for £4.

It’s perfect for those with a savoury tooth, but not quite for others expecting to eat chocolate this Easter.

The supermarket says the Stratford Blue egg has a “a soft and tangy flavour” while the Lancashire and Cheddar version is creamier.

, buying at Morrisons said: “We’re continuously looking for ways to make Easter moments fun and exciting for our customers and we’re thrilled to unveil a real unique twist on a true classic.”

Remember to factor in delivery costs if you’re ordering online – Morrisons charges at least £4.15 but if you buy a delivery pass it could save you up to £176 if you order regularly.

We couldn’t find any similar eggs from high street shops or supermarkets, so Morrisons is the place to go if cheese is your thing.
