What is Viking Toast?
A shot of a young caucasian hipster woman sitting on a wall in an urban park. She is wearing casual bohemian clothing, accessories and is eating a toasted sandwich and giggling.
Viking Toast is a new recipe from Pinch of Nom Enjoy, since its release in December 2022 many fans have been making their own. It’s still popular as the world welcomes 2023.
The toast is a twist on regular cheese on toast and is inspired by Pinch of Nom’s Viking Pork recipe.
Viking toast contains minimal cheap ingredients such as cheese, onions, eggs, and milk.
It closely resembles Welsh rarebit, a popular recipe that you can follow easily on BBC Good Food.
Viking Toast is intended as a breakfast food but the cheap and easy-to-make snack can be made any time of the day.
