That’s Amore Cheese Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of its burrata 125g.
The product has been available for sale at independent grocers in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland and an independent grocer in South Australia.
The recall is due to listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Listeria monocytogenes can cause severe illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, neonates, the elderly and individuals who are immunocompromised.
The general population can also become ill from consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
That’s Amore Cheese Pty Ltd is conducting a recall of burrata 125g (above) in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia
Symptoms of eating the recalled food include fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck and confusion.
Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
Customers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
