MasterChef viewers horrified after contestant includes two VERY unusual ingredients in his macaroni cheese
MasterChef viewers were left horrified over one particular dish during Thursday’s episode of the show, as contestants battled it out for a place in the final ten.
During the episode, the second group of seven hopefuls competed for the chance to work in a professional kitchen for the first time.
Their brief was to cook a dish they would have on the menu of their own restaurant or pop-up, or feature in their theoretical cookbook.
Fans watched as contestant Josh served up macaroni cheese as a part of his dish, but some were shocked by the ingredients used in the pasta recipe.
Josh, 25, from Stratford Upon Avon, revealed he would be adding evaporated milk and cheese singles into his mac and cheese, leaving some viewers stunned.

Another commented: ‘Evaporated milk & plastic cheese slices? Interesting…’
A third strongly argued: ‘Bro on MasterChef just made mac and cheese with condensed milk and plastic cheese only. Should have been put in jail on his way out.’
Quoting the contestant, one person wrote: “I really wanted them to like my macaroni cheese” Perhaps you should have made it properly instead of using condensed milk and plastic cheese?’
A different person said: ‘Oh dear, chunky slaw and disappointing mac n cheese. He’s out.’
