Downtown Loveland businesses to hold Mac ‘n’ Cheese Meltoff
Downtown Loveland will hold its second annual Mac ‘n’ Cheese Melt-off at 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at deskchair workspace, 201 E. Fourth St.
Six downtown businesses will team up to create their best beer and mac pairing, with reigning champs Door 222 and Loveland Aleworks Brewing going up against Origins and Verboten Brewing and Sandos and Crowhop Brewing.
Each ticket will include three servings of a specialty mac ’n’ cheese created by each restaurant paired with a beer from each brewery, and attendees will pick the winner.

Lucky’s Diesel Shop closes in Longmont to focus on Loveland site
Lucky’s Diesel Shop recently closed its original location in Longmont after 10 years there to focus on its second shop, located at 127 Barberry Place in Loveland.
“We have already experienced a very warm welcome and have found the people here in Loveland to be wonderful. The town is booming and we are thrilled to be a part of this community,” owner Sean Cash said in an email.
The business is not a general auto repair shop, instead specializing on working on Ford powerstrokes. It also works on all other Ford makes and models.
The shop has the latest diagnostic tools and over 50 years of combined Ford experience with three senior master certified mechanics, including Cash.
