The etiquette expert, who is originally from Airdrie, Scotland, filmed himself sitting alongside author Christine Hamilton.
As the pair are about to enjoy some cheese, Harrold pointed out a common mistake he sees people making to his 160,000 followers.
“Ladies and gentlemen, please remember – you never cut the nose off the cheese.”
As Harrold hovered the knife above the nose of the brie, Hamilton let out a scream and pretended to faint.

“Your hostess will not thank you for this. Sorry madam!” Harrold says, then cutting the cheese lengthways, which is supposedly the polite way to do it.
As cheese matures from the rind onwards, cutting it lengthways allows guests to enjoy the varying flavours across the slice.
The video quickly amassed tens of thousands of likes, and Harrold’s viewers devolved into a discussion surrounding the etiquette rule in the comments.
“The nose is usually the best part so it’s considered rude to take the best part for yourself without sharing,” one user explained.
