She said: “Cauli cheese is too easy not to do – you have to do it with your Sunday roast.

“Start by taking off the leaves and the stalk from the cauliflower and chop it up into little pieces.

“Then cover it with some water and boil it for about ten minutes.

“While that’s boiling, we’re going to make our sauce.

“Add about 50g of butter and then some flour to make a paste.

“Pour in some milk until you get a lovely sauce.

“Add about half a teaspoon of nutmeg and salt and pepper and a handful of grated cheese. 

“Drain your cauliflower and add it to a heatproof dish.

“Pour over your sauce, add lots of grated cheese, crushed black pepper and salt and pop it in the oven at 180 degrees celcius for half an hour.
