Viking Toast is essentially cheese on toast using a few unusual ingredients to really make the flavours sing. It is inspired by the popular Viking Pork recipe and has a similar taste to the iconic Welsh rarebit dish, which is a centuries-old method for cheese on toast.
Described as a “speedy brunch with bold flavours”, the Viking Toast takes only seven minutes to cook.
A step-by-step video of how to make Viking Toast was shared on YouTube and several TikTok recipe videos are also floating around on the app.
“Never tried this before. Looks delish,” one foodie noted. “Can’t wait to try it!” another wrote.
