House of The Dragon reportedly casting for Cheese for the Blood & Cheese storyline
Game of Thrones prequel House of The Dragon is a choke-full of repressed emotions, and there are many occasions we have seen them overflow. After the gut-wrenching and heart-breaking Season 1 finale, fans are anxiously waiting for the second season to arrive, which will begin with Dance of the Dragons, the civil war from Fire & Blood that destroyed most of the Targaryen line as well as their dragons. After suffering a major loss in the form of Lucerys in the season 1 finale, the Blacks will be out for revenge. And one of the first atrocities they commit translates into the Blood & Cheese storyline.

An audition tape recently leaked by the Redanian Intelligence suggests that House of The Dragon is currently hunting for actors for the role of Cheese. The clip shows actor Samuel Edward-Cook, who auditioned for a character codenamed Charlie ‘C’ for Red Gun 2, the production codename for House of the Dragon Season 2.
In the video, it is surmised that Charlie C is a character who is ordered to sneak someone into the castle to kidnap a royal prince in exchange for gold. Since this is an audition, we can’t say for sure it is actually for that role, but given the script and the source material, and the nickname, we might get confirmation about new castings quite soon.
