Thevenet & Fils
Macon Pierreclos Blanc 2021

Macon Pierreclos Blanc: 100% Chardonnay. The grapes for this cuvée are sourced from four separate parcels within Pierreclos: “Margots”, “Le Chateau”, “Les Grands Buys” and “La Bucherate”. The average age of the vines is forty-five (45) years and the is aged in concrete and in contact with the lees but without any exposure to oak.

Light, elegant, and mineral and rich, the wine by aging in concrete rather than oak allows true expression of this Mâcon varietal, a very versatile white that pairs well will many light entrees. This Macon loves a wide variety of cheeses such as Delice de’ Poitou, a mild soft goat and the Gabitou, a semi-soft cow/goat blend from the Pyrenees, or just enjoy a glass by its self after a long day or while .

Borgo Dei Guido
Sangiovese/Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2018

This beautiful and expressive wine is 51% Sangiovese and 49% Cabernet. Coming from the Emilio-Romagna region, an area that is considered the “bread basket” of Italy offers a taste of the old country.

From the first sip, this wine starts off with notes of leather, oak and tobacco leaves with a nice balance of dry and sweet and a finish of dark berries. A hearty meal will be complimented by this wonderful red. While you are we would highly suggest nibbling on our 4 year and some of our rustic Filone bread. Dinner is served!
