[Music] Foreign You guys happy Monday welcome back to Number six with cheese today elevated Fast food this is fresh stack Market Inside the Whole Foods in Lincoln Park Chicago this brand has three locations Now they're trying to do upscale fast Food Burgers chicken sandwiches fried Stuff like that so we're gonna try a Double cheeseburger from this place see What it's all about and let you know What we think a full Food review if you Will come along Foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] All right in that bag two fresh stack Burgers doubles acquired jump cut all Right we know pretty much nothing about This place Corey Wagner's second angle All right let's see what we got All right very cheesy uh Damn I was worried we weren't gonna be Able to de-chease the bun Um so yeah we've got it looks like kind Of not really kind of Smash Burgers like The Top's like a little caramelized Definitely on a flat top I'd say cheese There's remnants of what looks like Could be garlic aioli a very very thin Yeah the sausage or the saucing actually I know I'm hoping there's some on the
Bottom oh yeah let's take this stuff on The bottom too a little bit and then no Uh no veggies no onions no lettuce no Tomato interesting yeah the only thing That it had coming with it was pickles If you wanted them but yeah I didn't Even have an option for lettuce tomato Onion interesting and I feel like that's Not normal three slices of cheese damn All right top middle and bottom looks Good I mean it's a good like looking all American Burger does and then real quick On the big camera because we got it There's mine looking pretty good All right these burgers were 12 bucks Keep that in mind okay fresh stack Cheers [Music] Fun it's a classic burger yeah another Big thing all right the beef's supposed To be better like everything's kind of More like humanely sourced so that's Kind of what they're going for obviously Partnering with Whole Foods they just Put like a little one of those things That you do to make people pass out put That on the cow and then well then just Cuddle them Yeah snap their neck [Music] And there's tasty yeah it tastes really Good I like the amount of cheese that They use three slices is great yeah but Yeah all that cheese even though I like
I wish there was more garlic aioli it's Making it not too dry like the meat is Still like with all that cheese helps a Lot but the beef's good like overall I Mean it's just a big fat kind of Backyard Burger this is that price Point's a little rough yeah with nothing On it right especially they didn't like Give us enough garlic aiolios I'm not Really I'm getting more of the cheese Than anything I'm not even tasting Garlic here I taste cheese for sure it's A good burger it's just that price point Is this is a confusing thing because Like so is it fast food or is it not They definitely have the word fast food In their description of their restaurant Of like upscale fast food so they're Definitely trying to say which they're Trying to justify the price point Obviously I'm inspired to be in the Restaurant business because my family's In the restaurant business my Grandfather was the founder of Wendy's My aunt is Wendy obviously trying to Carry on a great family Legacy it's Crazy it's literally in the middle of The grocery store it's a tough sell for Me just because like there's no Ambiance To it right like right at least if You're getting a 12 burger at a lot of Different restaurants there's like you Get a little bit of a Vibe and I'm never Interested in like oh dude can I go sit
In a grocery store and eat I know it's Not a Vibe I'm looking for but that Being said I never use those like hot Food courts at grocery stores yeah People must they're seating in there and In a bar and people go there and they Make it more of a thing I go to the Grocery store I'm trying not to spend Money on things like this I'm trying to Spend my money on the groceries it's Crazy to me that people pop in there and Are like grocery shopping or like well I Might as well sit down and have a burger Yeah it's crazy to me me too I have a Tough time like understanding exactly When and where you would use this but Obviously this has like some sort of Markup it has to I wonder if the other Two locations are in Whole Foods as well My gut says no because it doesn't say That on the website let me just like Real quick rattle off where those other Ones are so there's one in Oakbrook and Then there's one in Kildeer Illinois This looks like a standalone so that's Like straight up that's a drive-through This looks like to be the only one That's kind of like presented like this Yeah I mean if you're in the fast food Realm you're gonna have a tough time Competing it's kind of in that like Shake Shack mentality like price Although like a double at Shake Shack is About the same price yeah and it does
Seem to be more food like this is a Bigger Burger this is heavy guys yeah When I picked up I was like oh shoot This is a pretty heavy Burger It is tasty I just wish I had more Aliens this is a weird one no this is a Weird one though I like it's hard to Place this I mean to me this is no more Than a seven dollar burger Yeah like what's making it like at least When it's other things it's like they're Putting bacon they're putting other Ingredients on there to justify that Price like just your standard I know Nothing else I know kind of lack lacking Something yeah I don't know this is one Of those ones that I feel like no one Really knows about yet so like I love Getting these videos on the channel to See if this company does kind of blow up A little bit us doing it really early Because that like just opened in there Yeah so I kind of like that sometimes Like I know nothing about this place if Uh find the extra money to invest yeah I Would not invest in that place I'm not looking at that business model Going this is this is where I want to Put my money yeah so yeah I like the Hope of that like that hopefully this Blows up and we're the first one to that But yeah I wouldn't I wouldn't hold your Breath for like them to go big and you Know no I you're probably right it's
Fresh it's stacked it's fresh stack okay This guy did his own copy too they're Just not doing enough differently to Stand out and you can't sell 12 fast Food Burgers no size It's like the fries looked good but like That was a whole lot add-on yeah Go ahead and rock our scores out on These white boards let's break it down For you one last time talk about it and Then score it Corey up first this is a Little bit of a tough one it was good I Mean I enjoyed my first bite I thought It was fine enough cheese and all that Stuff the meat was good I guess Um it's just it seems like it's not a Local Burger local burgers are way Better she's not competing with those Well then if you're competing with fast Food 12 bucks I know for just the burger I Know that's not competitive I don't Think there's a single burger that by Itself in the fast food is 12 bucks Maybe like the meat Mountain the double From Shake Shack I think is that price I Just think it's interesting they're Going for that market well then the the Double for Shake Shack is way better Than that yeah absolutely so it's if It's if it's going to battle the because Shake Shack almost isn't fast food if You have a Shake Shack in a McDonald's Next one you're not thinking oh these
Are the same these are in the same Arena No they're different the price Point's Different there's no drive through it's More like that Chipotle Style yeah so if You're if he's trying to compete with McDonald's the price isn't even close Right if he's trying to compete with Shake Shack and whatever there's like a Couple other ones that we've done I Can't remember all those like Smash Bros I don't I think this the flavor's not There no Smashburger is better yeah and Their doubles probably the same price I Bet yeah yeah yeah so I yeah I don't I Hate talking crap no these people but Like your food you gotta do it you're Not doing a great job and Um yeah just I I don't know what I don't Know what mood I'd have to be in to get This I think every mood that I would be In I'd have a trumpable yeah competition I agree so it's like okay I mean I guess You're hoping that there's so much need That like the lines are so long at Shake Shack that they have to settle for you I Know that's I don't know if there's Enough residual business to kind of like I agree make that a thing so Yeah it's unfortunately that's my that's My kind of opinion yeah the only thing I'll say is it didn't do enough to stand Out for me to be like oh a fresh stack Burger has this thing like Shake Shack Just has like an IT factor to me a
