Coles has unveiled it’s largest-ever specialty store complete with a self-serve bread warmer and slicer, a frozen dessert bar, a coffee station and a freshly squeezed orange juice machine.
Customers are spoilt for choice at the new Coles Local South Melbourne store, which officially opened its doors on Wednesday June 21.
The revamped store located in the Clarendon Centre offers a bakery section with sourdough, patisserie sweets, and a cheese section of more than 130 local and international cheeses in a 14 metre case.

On offer is a cheese section of more than 130 local and international cheeses
The store is surrounded by heritage streetscapes and terrace homes that give the area a neighbourhood village feel.
It’s the first Coles to carry a selection of products from fine food merchant, Oasis.
Customers can create delicious charcuterie boards by choosing treats from the array of antipasti and trimmings, including olives, artisan crackers, and fruit.
As for heartier meals, shoppers can choose form a vast range of gourmet meats from Melbourne butcher Meatsmith.
