Coin-op amusements news | New Chuck E. Cheese opens in Trinidad
The Falls at Westmall shopping centre in Trinidad’s Westmoorings area is the location of a new Chuck E. Cheese.
Chuck E. Cheese brings its signature multifunctional offering to Westmoorings, such as pizza, an arcade and animatronics.
T&T News reports that Chuck E. Cheese is planning to open two other locations in Jamaica later this year and 2025 respectively, as well as another in Guyana in 2024.
Director of Yay! Entertainments, Joanna Rostant, who helped bring this vision to life, said: “Back in 2012 when this dream was taking shape, we always knew we wanted a store in the west. My sister and I both live in the west and we often struggled to find entertainment for our kids that was both within distance, reach and budget.
“Today, this becomes a reality for families in northern and western Trinidad and we are extremely proud to bring more fun, more birthdays, more family time and more educational field trips to Westmoorings. We’re indeed putting the ‘more’ in Westmoorings.”
Mayor of Trinidad and Tobago’s nearby Port of Spain, Joel Martinez, commented at the opening” “Westmall is a fabulous mall…what better place to have a new establishment that has an international brand, that can really add to this luxurious mall. Thank you for placing your confidence as an entrepreneur into this mall and into the city of Port of Spain by extension. I wish you tremendous success.”
