Celebrate International Women’s Day at cheese and wine night
Lancashire Women’s Centre in Accrington have partnered up with the cultural venue organisation to champion women over a relaxing evening on Saturday, March 18.
The event, which is for over 18’s only, costs £25 per person and that includes six glasses of wine, a selection of cheese and biscuits as well as entertainment from themed games and quizzes.
The money will be going towards Civic Arts Centre and Theatre and Lancashire Women.
Gayle Knight, creative director at the Civic Arts Centre and Theatre, said: “We held one of these fun events a while ago and everyone really enjoyed it. We tasted wine from around the world and the cheeses that accompany them best. The event is perfect for Mother’s Day”.
