Carrie Underwood was gifted with a cake made of cheese wheels for her 40th birthday.
The former American Idol winner, who celebrated her birthday on Friday, shared several images to her Instagram Story to showcase how her family had chosen to commemorate her special day.
The hitmaker, who recently revealed that she had a washer/dryer in her walk-in closet, humorously wrote that she felt ‘understood’ by her loved ones in a text graphic that was added to one of her posts.
Underwood posted a selfie of herself posing next to what she described as ‘about 70lbs of cheese.’
The performer kept it casual in the snap while wearing a black button-up shirt, and her gorgeous blonde hair fell onto her shoulders.

The Inside Your Heaven singer also showed off what she called ‘a lifetime’s worth of wines starting at 1983,’ which had been arranged around her cheese wheel cake.
She went on to share notes that had given to her by her sons Jake and Isaiah, aged eight and four, detailing what they loved about their mother.
Underwood shares her children with her husband Mike Fisher, whom she began dating in 2008.
The couple went on to tie the knot during a wedding ceremony that took place in Georgia in 2010.
The pair subsequently started a family with Jake’s arrival, which occurred in February of 2015.
The singer and her husband went on to add Isaiah to their lives in January of 2019.
Although she appeared to enjoy relaxing with her family, Underwood recently released a new single entitled Out Of That Truck.
The hitmaker surprise-released her new song on Friday in commemoration of her birthday.
