Burger King’s new meatless cheeseburger comes with 20 slices of cheese
Burger King has come up with a new version of a cheeseburger — minus the meat.
Its locations in Thailand have started to sell a “real cheeseburger” sandwich featuring 20 slices of American cheese between a sesame bun, according to multiple media reports.
On the official Burger King Thailand Facebook account, it explained the item would only be available for a limited time — and at a lower price than a traditional cheeseburger
The “real cheeseburger” will cost 109 Thai baht ($3.14) compared to the usual price of 380 Thai baht ($10.95).
“This is for real!” the post read.

Images of the real cheeseburger have already begun to circulate on social media.
Thai travel writer Richard Barrow wrote on Twitter that the trend in Thailand is to put cheese on everything.
“I love cheese but I struggled eating even half of this ‘burger’. Maybe I should grill the other half?” he added.
One Twitter user replied that the cheeseburger looked “awful,” but it might actually be cheaper than buying that much cheese in the supermarket.
“[T]hey can’t really put that much cheese in it?” the person wrote.
“I love cheese but I wont try it. That’s too much, seriously what is Burger King thinking?” another said.
